Description: The site of the National Diving Centre, just outside Chepstow in Monmouthshire is a former limestone quarry called "Dayhouse quarry". It has been flooded for some 7 years since quarrying ceased. Prior to it's flooding, the quarry base was re-profiled and outline planning consent was given for it's use as a dive centre. The developers, Dayhouse Quarry Ltd., have almost completed the initial phases of construction of the site.

Diving: A range of depths from 0-9, 9-18, 26, 45, 50 and 80 metres, all of which will be marked with buoys and trapeze where appropriate and necessary. The shallower waters will have all you would expect in the way of "attractions" on the bottom, whilst the deeper waters will be kept clear of any possible obstructions. The site is well stocked with Perch and Pike.

The water is accessed by 260 metres of pontoons with kit trolleys available, and configured to give maximum access and exit points, and the least amount of swimming!
